WS Productions Ltd is primarily a sound and lighting company who go out to venues and provide clients with sound and lighting for their event. WS Productions was incorporated as a limited company with Companies House in April 2018 where we began trading in May 2018. WS Productions Ltd is based in Farnworth Bolton and is run by 2 shareholders who are also the directors; Samuel Dickinson and Wayne Gibson.
WS Productions has a large stock of lights, sound equipment, cables and atmospheric equipment which goes out to venues via delivery and collection by ourselves using our van. Depending on the client’s specification we will decide on what equipment is needed for each event. We cater for a variety of services which include, but not exhaustive to; Theatre Productions (inc. Amateur Dramatics and Schools), Dance Shows, Conferences, Parties andWeddings, .
WS Productions is able to hire equipment out to clients or provide the equipment with the technical support of Samuel and Wayne being present throughout the contract; rigging, programming and operating the equipment.
Additional to being a sound and lighting company, we also own a recording studio which is fully equipped with high quality sound capturing, processing and exporting equipment. Our recording studio can be used by a wide range of clients from hobbyist through to professional singers including voice overs and bands.

Our Experience
Our co-founder team consists of; Wayne Gibson, our Sound Engineer and Company Director, Music Degree holder from Leeds Music Collage who has worked in the lives music industry for over 40 years, working with the Nolan Sisters, Drifters, Freddie Star and Jasper Carrot to name a few. Wayne began his career in a band for 8 years before going into Solo work (Vocal / Instrumentalist) for around 20 years. Alongside his solo work Wayne has been involved in session playing as a musician in various studios. After the solo career Wayne became a sound engineer for live events and a recording studio engineer for around 23 years before moving in theatrical performances as a sound engineer for 12 years.
Samuel Dickinson, our Lighting Technician and Company Director, who has studied Technical Theatre at University of Derby and has also worked alongside some big names in the theatre industry including Sean McKenzie, Kate Spencer and Michael Lambourne whilst working as a stage technician at Derby Theatre alongside my studies. I had numerous opportunities to work with the sound department, the lighting department and the stage managers of which I took all opportunities given to me. I have attended many courses some of which include pyrotechnics, first aid at work, working at heights and manual handling.
I began the route of sound and lighting when I was young and part of the technical team of my amateur dramatics society which WS Productions is now contracted to all of their shows in the year.
